Seeing is believing if one is to believe that old saying. But what if standing could be the basis for seeing and a pivot or crouch could produce a different sight from many different angles. I was never great at the floor game "Twister" but the assignment helped to train my flexibility. REFLECTION: This shoot was fun and also a bit constraining. I may have picked the wrong spot and the wrong stance to get a vast difference in shots but, I think I was able to really capture a different moment in time that could inspire a viewer. The ominous rain clouds, the weeds that look like a forest to an ant, and the businessman walking briskly to an adventure all his own. I think the part of the assignment where one just stops - fully plants their foot - and then REALLY takes in their surroundings to find new angles - was the best part. My life is constantly - go, go, go - and this assignment allowed me to slow down for awhile and remember to see the beauty all around me.
